The photos I'm sharing with you today turned out so beautifully. When it comes to family photography and pregnancy I love a casual look. This session was that and then some. We had a great time walking around and the pictures reflect just that.Read More

If there is anything I learned in all these years working with children, as a teacher and a photographer, it is that kids don’t like sitting still and following orders. They don’t. Children in general do not enjoy being told what to do… and if you really think about it, neither do adults.
An ideal session for me is one where they kids are just allowed to be kids. I like to encourage them to joke with their parents and siblings, I like when they take turns directing the session, I like when they come up with weird shot ideas, and I absolutely love that when you listen to children, they listen to you.Read More
I met up with them on a chilly December afternoon at Red Rock Canyon Open Space and though it was a bit cold, that didn’t stop these fun kids from running around and being as silly as possible. It was the great energy and attitude of this family that made this shoot such a success. It was easy to tell that they really enjoy spending time together. It also helped that they were prepared for the weather! Dawn brought a beautiful wagon with snacks and a blanket! Talk about being prepared! Great job mom!Read More

So, there are a couple of things I do to keep things interesting… but mostly to keep me sane and to stop my creative side from starvation!Read More
